After graduating, he established himself as an independent designer and began his research collaborating with different international design studios. Working on the development of numerous furniture, product, lighting, exhibitions and communication projects.
In addition to the work with industrial manufactured products, experimental prototypes and research are an important part of his work and approach.
He is focusing on the relationship between objects that are closely connected to their environment and the different ways to perceive and use them.
He believes that design should be considered an endless process as society develop and transform.
Objects and environments are never finished until they transform.

From September 2019 Sebastian has overseen the Product Design department at Design Academy in Padua to further explorations into the impact of the socio-cultural context on Design. The aim for the students is to discover unexpected qualities in themselves and others, learn/embrace failure and expand their areas of interest.
